I am a sustainability professional currently working on energy efficiency and decarbonization in the manufacturing sector in Vietnam. My journey has gradually taken me from youth-led environmental work and policy to a more direct focus on energy transition and corporate sustainability.
I am a Kenyan community development and sustainability professional. My work mostly focuses on ensuring community protection from potential harmful practices. I achieve this by raising awareness on how companies can integrate meaningful ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices into their operations to ensure they are continuously mindful of their impacts in the areas where they work. What drives my work is the hope that if sustainability considerations are embedded into business models, local communities will be safeguarded. Sustainability matters to me because I want to be part of driving the shift toward a mindful development approach, one where we reduce our negative impacts or eliminate them entirely.
Pursuing a master's degree in Data Science with a background in AI research, data analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Applies computational methods to complex problems and sees sustainability as an opportunity to develop more responsible, long-term solutions to environmental and social challenges.

Praveena Makesh is a development economist (LSE) and founder of Maclar Digital Studios, building civic-tech tools that make climate and policy data legible to the public. Her recent work maps the uneven human toll of climate change across 190+ countries.

Chemical Engineering graduate currently working in Regulatory Affairs, gaining hands-on experience in regulatory documentation, compliance requirements, and cross-functional coordination within global frameworks. Through my role, I work closely with quality, production, and supply chain functions, which has strengthened my understanding of how regulatory processes support scalable and compliant operations across international markets. In parallel, I am particularly interested in the energy and FMCG industries, where regulatory knowledge, process efficiency, and sustainability-driven innovation play a critical role. I adapt quickly to new environments, follow technological and sectoral developments closely, and aim to leverage my regulatory background as a transferable skill set for global opportunities in engineering-driven industries.
